It is time to come together in fellowship and prayer, as the young church of Jesus Christ! Get ready for great music, motivational keynote speakers, engaging workshops, and powerful experiences with the Holy Spirit through the Eucharistic liturgy, exposition, and adoration. And, as always, a community of fellowship and fun as we close at Wonderland Park!

This retreat invites teens to reflect on life’s essential questions—the purpose of life, the existence of God, and His love for humanity. Sessions will focus on the Mass as the source of knowing, loving, and serving God, and on the Beatitudes (Mt 5:1–12) as the path to share in Christ’s glory and the joy of the Trinity.

All Teens and Young Adults are invited to join the Franciscan Sisters of Christ the Light for a movie and fellowship!
What? Worship music, a short teaching, Adoration, food, and a good movie!
Where? St. Francis House of Prayer, 125 John Paul Circle, Panhandle, TX 79068
When? From 6:00 pm until around 10:00 p.m. (whenever the movie and short discussion are over).
Why? A great way to encounter God with others your age and to grow in your faith. The Movie Night includes time for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, a simple meal, and a movie with a challenging message.
Youth retreats are among the most effective tools in ministry, producing lasting spiritual impact. The National Study of Youth and Religion (2004) found that teens who participate in retreats, rallies, conferences, mission trips, or service projects report a stronger closeness to God, greater importance of faith in daily life, and increased personal Scripture reading.
Because of their effectiveness, parishes across the U.S. regularly host multiple retreats each year, tailored to different age groups, leadership teams, special needs, and Confirmation preparation.
The Diocese of Amarillo encourages each deanery to host two retreats per year (or one per cluster). Deaneries may invite one of four recommended retreat teams (below) or organize their own. The Diocesan Youth Office provides $350 in support for promotion and general assistance.
For details or approval to invite an outside retreat team, contact Oscar Guzman.
