Amarillo—Catholic Charities of the Texas Panhandle will host its fifth Monte Carlo Night fundraiser Saturday from 6:00 to 11:00 at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4100 South Coulter.
The evening begins at 6:00 with social hour, followed by dinner at 6:30, catered by Joe Taco. Music will be provided by Patrick Swindell and Esquire Jazz.
Tickets are $80 each or $150 per couple.
There will also be a silent and live auction. Auctioneer will be Paul Smith. Online bidding for silent auctions will begin one week prior to the event. Items include a number of high-end paintings donated through an estate sale.
Casino games will be operated under the direction of the Men’s Club at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. There will also be a 3D Photo Booth and a number of prizes will be given away throughout the evening. Sponsors will be highlighted during the evening with eye-catching 3D holographic images.
All proceeds from the evening will be dedicated to one of the many programs offered by Catholic Charities, including: • The InterFaith Hunger Project; • Joseph’s Project; • Refugee Resettlement; and, • Immigration Services.
Present in the Texas Panhandle since 1932, Catholic Charities has actively advocated for the poor, the at-risk, the misunderstood, the hungry and the homeless throughout its existence.
