Catholic Schools Advent/Christmas Programs

Amarillo—Advent and Christmas programs are scheduled in the five Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Amarillo, according to Christine Wanjura, Superintendent of Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Amarillo.
• In Dalhart, students at St. Anthony of Padua School will present A Living Nativity along with Holiday Art walk with cocoa and cookies on Tuesday, Dec. 9 at 6:00pm, in the school at 411 East Texas Blvd. Find out more by calling the school office at 806-244-4811.
• An Advent Program is set for Thursday, Dec. 11 at 2:00pm at St. Mary’s Cathedral School, 1200 South Washington. Fifth grade students will perform a Nativity play and all students are scheduled to sing during the program. Learn more by calling the school office at 806-376-9112.
• Holy Cross Catholic Academy will host a Choir and Orchestra Winter and Christmas Concert Sunday, Dec. 14 at 7:00pm at St. Joseph’s Church, 4122 South Bonham. Admission to the concert is free. For more information about the concert, please contact the school office at 806-355-9637.

• In Hereford, students at St. Anthony’s School will present its annual Christmas Program on Thursday, Dec. 18 in the school gym at 120 West Park Ave. There will be two performances—one for grandparents at 2:00pm and the second for the public at 6:00pm.
