Catholic Schools Summer Hours
Amarillo—Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Amarillo have released their summer office hours. All Catholic Schools will be closed Friday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth and Friday, July 3 in observance of Independence Day.  
 
At Holy Cross Catholic Academy, 4110 South Bonham, Amarillo (806-355-9637), office hours are 11:00am to 2:00pm Mondays through Thursdays or by appointment at 806-355-9637, weekdays through Friday, July 31. The office will be closed Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 3. Regular office hours of 7:45am to 4:00pm resume on Monday, Aug. 3.
 
At Saint Joseph’s School, 4118 South Bonham, Amarillo (806-359-1604), office hours are 8:00am to 1:00pm Mondays through Thursdays or by appointment, beginning Monday, June 1 through Friday, July 31. The office will be closed the weeks of Monday, May 25 through Friday, May 29 and Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 3. Regular office hours of 7:45am to 4:00pm resume Monday, Aug. 3.
 
At St. Mary’s Cathedral School,1200 South Washington, Amarillo (806-376-9112) the school office will be open on the following dates from 8:00am to 1:00pm:
• Tuesday, May 26 through Thursday, May 28;
• Monday, June 1 through Thursday, June 4;
• Monday, July 20 through Thursday, July 23; and,
• Monday, July 27 through Friday, July 31.
Those wishing to make an appointment during office hours are asked to email Principal Kim Lackey at [email protected]. Regular office hours of 8:00am to 3:00pm will resume on Monday, Aug. 3.
 
At St. Anthony of Padua School, 410 East 13th Street, Dalhart (806-244-4811), the school office will be open Tuesday, May 26 through Friday, May 29 from 9:00am to noon, During the months of June and July, the school office is open by appointment only. For new enrollment information or other questions, please contact Shay Batenhorst at 806-244-4811. From Monday, Aug. 3 through Thursday, Aug. 6, the office will be open on weekdays from 9:00am to noon. School hours on Monday, Aug. 10 will be 9:00am to 3:00pm. The school will resume regular business hours of 7:40am to 4:00pm on Tuesday, Aug. 11.
 
At St. Anthony’s School, 120 West Park Ave., Hereford (806-364-1952), the school office is open from 8:00am to 2:00pm, Monday through Thursday or by appointment through Tuesday, June 30. The office is open during the month of July by appointment only. Appointments can be made by contacting principal Linda Gonzalez at 806-344-5423 or school secretary Edith Ramirez at 469-493-2430. Regular office hours of 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Friday resume on Monday, Aug. 3.
 
2026-27 Enrollment At Diocesan Catholic Schools
Amarillo—The 2025-26 school year for Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Amarillo has come to a conclusion and it’s not too late to consider a Catholic education for your children next school year.
All five Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Amarillo continue to enroll students for the 2026-2027 school year.
 
Principals encourage parents to contact schools in advance for further registration details or to make an appointment to register.
 
Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Amarillo are:
