DCYC Preparations

DCYC 2025 Special Note: Parishes from outside Amarillo will have the option to attend a host parish in Amarillo appointed by DCYC Staff. Spaces are Limited. Sunday's lunch meal at a Host Parish will be $10.00 extra and must pay at Early Bird Registration or Regular Registration. Host parishes will have time for fellowship. short presentation, meal and Mass (Some will have activities and/or Praise and Worship. 

Housing– You have to make your own reservations; The Diocese does NOT have any kind of discounts with any other hotels in the area.
  
 Transportation – On your own. King's Highway (888) 332-4315, DS Bus Line (806) 335-9080, and B&G Transportation 806-799-3246. Suggestion: get together with another parish and look into transportation using buses.
  
 Scholarships –

1. Members of the Diocesan Youth Council (DYC) should get a scholarship if active - each parish should have two representatives.
2. Parishes can apply for scholarships (see form)

 Registration – 
  
 Early Bird Registration (Form A): Send registration forms and total fee POSTMARKED by February 23, 2026, 5:00 p.m. and/or drop off outside box by the front doors of the Pastoral Center.
  Cost $55.00 includes: registration fee, two meals, t-shirt and gifts. 
 (Wonderland is ADDITIONAL)
  
 Needed: Group Forms “A” & “B”; Youth Registration Forms “E”; Adult Registration Forms “C”. No one will be let in without the Registration Forms.
  
 Regular Registration (Form AA) - Send registration forms and total fee POSTMARKED by April 3, 2026 5:00 p.m. and/or drop off outside box by the front doors of the Pastoral Center.
 Cost $65.00 includes: registration fee, two meals. (NO DCYC t-shirt and gifts) (Wonderland - ADDITIONAL)
  
 Needed: Group Forms “AA” & “BB”; Youth Registration Forms “E”; Adult Registration Forms “C”. No one will be let in without the Registration Forms.

 Late Registration (DOOR REGISTRATION) - After April 3, 2026
 Cost: $75.00 per participant includes: registration fee, two meals. ( NO DCYC gifts, shirt and gifts etc.)
 Bring all forms “E” and/or “C” and payment to the DCYC with you as late registrations
  
 NOTE: Transportation and lodging on your own.
 DCYC t-shirts must be ordered by February 23, 2026 - minimum amount of shirts will be sold at the DCYC at $12.00 each (S-Large) $15.00 (Xlarge and up)
  
 ADDITIONAL: Pre- order Wonderland Park $24.00* - welcome to order for family members
  
 *Wonderland – Tickets can be pre-purchased for $24.00 each (not refundable but can be used at a different time). Tickets will be sold at the DCYC; FRIDAY & SATURDAY April  24-25, 2026 until supply lasts for $25.00
 non-riders pay the same except for 65 and older – free with i.d.
 
 Poster – Generic flyers are on the web, please put these up in traffic areas so everyone can see the dates. (ONLINE or Sent to the parish Youth Minister/Contact) 
  
 Service Project/Collection – “tissue boxes” - benefit Catholic Charities
  
 PUT 10 ASIDE: Ask every teen to set $10.00 to put in the collection on Saturday afternoon Mass. Benefit the Youth Ministry teens and ministers with future scholarship.
  
 Community Building – – Friday Activities
  
 Interpretation for the Deaf – If needed call the Office at ext. 118 (ASAP)
